The City of Caldwell is hiring a SCADA Instrumentation Specialist- Come join our team! 

The City of Caldwell is looking for a SCADA Instrumentation Specialist. This individual maintains and installs industrial instrumentation and controls equipment at wastewater treatment, water distribution and other public works facilities and performs related work and tasks as required. Individual will report to the Public Works Deputy Director. 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in instrumentation or related trade certification
  • Five years’ experience installing, repairing and maintaining industrial instrumentation and control systems
  • Two years’ programming and connecting Wonderware SCADA software (System Platform Galaxy and WW Historian), WinCC (Siemens) software, Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs.

Licensing And Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Electrical Specialty Journeyman License- Idaho Limited Energy, International Society of Automation Certified Control Systems Technician (ISA-CCST), or an International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians Certification (ISCET) 
  • Subject to after hours on call, call back and/or varying shift hours if emergency dictates
  • Requires successful completion of pre-employment background check, drug testing, and physical
