Home MenuThe City of Caldwell Wastewater Treatment Plant operates a septic disposal facility, for use by licensed septic hauling companies.
Septic dumping hours: 8am-4pm.
Current Rate: $0.09 per gallon
Requirements for Disposal:
- Septic hauling companies must go to their local health district to obtain a permit application to haul and dispose of septage.
- Septic haulers will bring their application to the City of Caldwell Wastewater Treatment Plant to obtain signed authorization to dump septage at our facility. You may also email your permit application to dbishop@cityofcaldwell.org.
- Septic haulers will take this permit application back to the applicable health district for their inspection and approval.
- Once the septic hauler permit has been obtained, a copy of this must be sent to the City of Caldwell Wastewater Treatment Plant to have on file for verification.
- Permits must remain up to date.
- Each year a new permit must be sent to the WWTP.
- Haulers without a current permit may NOT be able to dispose of their septage at our facility.
- With each disposal, a sample must be presented to the WWTP laboratory for pH testing, to verify the load is acceptable.
- Acceptable pH Range: 5.0 - 11.5
- ONLY SEPTIC SYSTEM DISPOSAL IS ALLOWED.
