Are you looking to get rid of any of the following?  

• Cleaning Products
• Automotive fluids
• Workshop/Painting supplies
• Lawn/Garden products
• Batteries
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Flammable products
• Electronic waste

These need to be handled specially by your landfill.  In Canyon County, that is Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill.  

If you are able to set your items aside temporarily, you may wish to attend a Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Event, where you can dispose of the above mentioned materials for free, and at a convenient location in Nampa or Caldwell. 

Are you an Ada County resident?  We recommend checking out City of Boise recommendations.  You may also wish to reference the Ada County Landfill site for county wide waste disposal events. 

You may also find private environmental companies across the Treasure Valley which are able to accept and/or clean up spills associated with the materials mentioned above.  You may contact us for a list of known companies, but City staff aren't able to make recommendations or endorsements.
