Public safety in Caldwell is a top priority with the dedicated efforts of the Caldwell Police Department and the Caldwell Fire Department. The police department comprises 70 sworn officers, including specialized bicycle and canine units, serving the expanding population. Meanwhile, the fire department covers 22 square miles within the city and an additional 120 square miles in rural areas, ensuring a swift and comprehensive response to emergencies.
