The City of Caldwell's Mapping Departing is looking for a GIS Analyst. This individual provides enterprise GIS technology solutions through analysis, design, development, and maintenance of GIS applications and data. Individual develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates applications and provides maintenance for the City of Caldwell’s GIS. Individual provides technical assistance and support to users regarding GIS technology solutions and map generation for the City’s infrastructure, services, and geographic features; and performs other duties as required. Subject to pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Acceptable Experience and Training:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, or other related fields; or
• Minimum of four (4) years' experience in GIS; and
• Working knowledge of the use of computer software and hardware to support the development of a GIS and its applications; or
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
• Previous experience with ESRI GIS software is required.

Required Special Qualifications:

• Possession of a current and valid driver’s license.
