The Investigation Division teams:

•  CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT
  • The Criminal Investigations Unit is comprised of a Sergeant, Corporal, and 6 Detectives. These include crimes such as aggravated assault/battery, felony domestic violence, child abuse, rape, murder, robbery, fraud, forgery, insufficient funds checks, burglary, grand thefts and internet fraud.

   

• SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER UNIT
  • The School Resource Officer Unit is comprised of police officers that work in school. They have roles as police officers, teachers, and counselors. They investigate crimes that happen in the schools and crimes that are committed by students. In the summer the resource officers are assigned to Bike Patrol.  

• We also have investigators assigned to these task forces:
  • City-County Narcotics Unit
  • Treasure Valley Violent Crimes Task Force
  • Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children
