Bike Patrol

The Caldwell Police Department Bike Patrol is active during summer months. The Unit is staffed by SRO's when school is out. The Bike Patrol unit works day and swing shifts to best serve the public. The Bike Patrol Unit polices the green belt, parks and downtown area. With this, they are able to go where cars cannot and often get places faster than other police vehicles. 

Officers on bike patrol attend bike training and also help with the education of bike riders regarding laws and safety. They also present bike riding courses for the public.
